Systemic racism and how to survive it

14 October 2020 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

In this webinar we will identify what we mean by ‘systemic racism’. We will be joined by colleagues from sister education unions including Michelle Codrington-Rogers, the first black national president of the NASUWT alongside UCU contributors from FE, HE and prison education. We will leave members with clear strategies to both recognise and challenge systemic racism in all its forms.

Chair: Victoria Showunmi (UCU NEC, chair UCU BMSC and equality committee, vice-chair HEC)
